Matanzas On The Bay
"Matanzas" is located just over and then "under" the bridge, heading onto Fort Myers Beach. This fantastic hideaway restaurant has some of the best food and views of any on the beach. Dine inside the main building and feast yourself on fresh blue crab appetizers or seasonally available Florida Stone Crabs. Or go straight to the main course and enjoy locally caught grouper, Florida Lobster Tails, steaks or other house specialties.
Head upstairs to "Petey's Upper Deck" and really take in the view of the Back Bay and the world famous Fishing Fleet. Here they have many of the same offerings as downstairs, plus the addition of one of the best Pizza's on the beach, while catching the game on one of many TV's throughout the bar or enjoy the local musicians play the day away.
