So far, we've only looked at the actual cost of getting to Key West. When you fly, you have to park your car!  Well, good luck in finding a spot.  Assuming that you're going for more than just one day, that means that you're going to be parking in a long term airport lot, AND you'll then have to await for a shuttle to get you to the terminal. REMEMBER, that you're supposed to be at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled departure time! ! ! !  More time and money wasted.  With Key West Express, you park and you're just a short 2 or 3 minute walk to the boat.
