9th Annual Key West BrewFest

The last 8 Key West BrewFest events have been so much fun and an amazing success for the local charities, the committee is teaming up to bring it to you again! Between 150 and 200 beers and micro-brews are on tap at this "tasty" annual event that benefits the charitable efforts of the Key West Sunrise Rotary Club of the Conch Republic.
The festival is to feature nearly 200 beers and ales including unique microbrews. They are showcased at beer dinners, brunches, happy hours, pool parties, late-night after parties, and of course, the oceanfront Signature Tasting Event.
June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.
The Key West Songwriters festival is the world’s LARGEST event of its kind. The five day country music mania begins in early to mid May, with free shows daily as well as some performances requiring reservations. This is THE must do for music junkies! Some of Nashville’s greatest talents made their debuts in Key West, at the song writers festival!
Land originally a Native American Calusa settlement hundreds of years ago, became home to the original fort of Fort Myers housing soldiers in the mid-1800s. In 2003, after a long history the past was blended with the future by restoring the building to its original magnificence, while creating a modern arts facility. Today, the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers continuously strives to provide world-class arts programming and events to the community and is host to a broad range of events that include film, fashion, music and art.
